Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Nigerian homecoming?

A Nigerian homecoming is a professionally managed travel experience for members of the Nigerian diaspora returning to visit family, explore the country, or attend events. BVCL coordinates airport reception, accommodation, transport, and experiences.

What seasonal pricing applies?

Pricing varies by travel season: Normal (8 January – 14 November), High (15 November – 14 December and 2–7 January), and Peak (15 December – 1 January). Cross-season bookings apply the highest season by default. Peak prices include a 12.5% Peak Season Operating Fee.

Is the estimated amount final?

No. The estimated amount is an initial calculation based on your selected package, dates, and travelers. The final amount is confirmed in a formal quotation after BVCL review and supplier confirmation.

What does 'Subject to availability and final supplier confirmation' mean?

BVCL coordinates with multiple suppliers (hotels, transport providers, experience operators). Your booking is confirmed only after suppliers confirm availability and pricing.

Can I customise a package?

Yes. Use the Build My Homecoming tool to select a package, add optional services, and specify your preferences. BVCL reviews each request and adjusts as needed.

What is the relationship between BVCL and MyCityApp?

BVCL professionally managed Nigerian homecoming products are available in partnership with MyCityApp. MyCityApp is the booking and distribution partner.
